The Agenda
A run of show for a 60–75 minute working session, built entirely around interpreting a baseline you've already prepared, not building one from scratch in the room.
Print or pin this page during the session: it's your actual runbook. Each block links back to its full chapter in this guide for the deeper talking points, so this page stays scannable during the session itself.
Before the Session (Async Prep)
Complete everything in Getting Ready first: confirm where you're starting from, submit every available report with enough lead time for asynchronous processing, and pre-select 1–2 findings you'll walk through in depth live. Nothing in the blocks below should be the first time anyone in the room is seeing these numbers.
0–10 · Why This Matters Now
Goal: Land why GEO/AEO is a distinct discipline from SEO, not a rebrand of it.
On screen: Nothing yet: this block is discussion-driven. Open with the "blue link vs. AI assistant" question.
Talk track: Use the SEO vs. GEO/AEO comparison table and the named-engine breakdown from Why This Matters Now. Close by stating the program objective verbatim: "move from 'AI visibility is interesting' to 'we know what to improve and how to measure progress.'"
Watch for: Stakeholders skeptical this is anything more than SEO with new vocabulary. Meet that directly: acknowledge the overlap (crawlability, schema, structure all still matter), then pivot to what's genuinely new: closed-book training-data presence, citation sentiment, share of voice against named competitors, none of which classic SEO tooling measures at all.
10–20 · The ai12z Advantage
Goal: Explain why this is a loop, not a one-time audit, before the team sees its own numbers.
Talk track: Walk the six-stage loop from The ai12z Advantage. Be precise about the chatbot-preview claim: it shows whether your content supports a good answer, not what ChatGPT will actually say.
20–45 · Present & Interpret the Baseline (Live)
Goal: Walk the team through the baseline you already built, and get reactions and context on it, not generate it live.
On screen: The prepared reports for where you're starting from: Citation Monitor first (it's the headline number), then 1–2 pre-selected findings in real depth: a specific weak page from URL Analysis, a specific missing signal from Agent-Readiness or AI Footprint, or (if you have usage history) a specific conversation from Q&A Insights.
Talk track: Don't read every score out loud: that's what the PDF is for. Spend the time on the 1–2 findings you pre-selected because they're the most concrete or most surprising, and ask the room questions as you go: "does this match what you'd expect? Is this page actually a priority?"
Watch for: Trying to cover every report in equal depth. Depth on a couple of real findings lands harder than a fast tour of everything.
