The Agenda
A run of show for a 60–75 minute live session, built entirely around interpreting a baseline you've already prepared — not building one from scratch in front of the client.
Print or pin this page during the live session — it's your actual runbook. Each block links back to its full module in this guide for the deeper talking points, so this page stays scannable during the session itself.
Before the Session (Async, Not Client-Facing)
Complete everything in Pre-Work & Guardrails first: send the intake questionnaire, confirm the client's delivery track, submit every track-appropriate report with enough lead time for asynchronous processing, and pre-select 1–2 findings you'll walk through in depth live. Nothing in the blocks below should be the first time you're seeing the client's own numbers.
0–10 · Why This Matters Now
Goal: Land why GEO/AEO is a distinct discipline from SEO, not a rebrand of it.
On screen: Nothing yet — this block is discussion-driven. Open with the "blue link vs. AI assistant" question.
Talk track: Use the SEO vs. GEO/AEO comparison table and the named-engine breakdown from Why This Matters Now. Close by stating the engagement objective verbatim: "move you from 'AI visibility is interesting' to 'we know what to improve and how to measure progress.'"
Watch for: A client skeptical this is anything more than SEO with new vocabulary. Meet that directly — acknowledge the overlap (crawlability, schema, structure all still matter), then pivot to what's genuinely new: closed-book training-data presence, citation sentiment, share of voice against named competitors, none of which classic SEO tooling measures at all.
10–20 · The ai12z Advantage
Goal: Explain why this is a loop, not a one-time audit, before the client sees their own numbers.
Talk track: Walk the six-stage loop from The ai12z Advantage. Be precise about the chatbot-preview claim — it shows whether the client's content supports a good answer, not what ChatGPT will actually say.
Watch for: Overselling this block. It's context for what's coming, not the sales pitch — save the implementation pitch for the close.
20–45 · Present & Interpret the Baseline (Live)
Goal: Walk the client through the baseline you already built, and get their reaction and context on it — not generate it live.
On screen: The prepared reports for this client's track: Citation Monitor first (it's the headline number), then 1–2 pre-selected findings in real depth — a specific weak page from URL Analysis, a specific missing signal from Agent-Readiness or AI Footprint, or (Track B) a specific conversation from Q&A Insights.
Talk track: Don't read every score out loud — that's what the PDF is for. Spend the time on the 1–2 findings you pre-selected because they're the most concrete or most surprising, and ask the client questions as you go: "does this match what you'd expect? Is this page actually a priority for you?" This is where their context corrects or sharpens your prioritization.
Watch for: Trying to cover every report in equal depth. Depth on a couple of real findings lands harder than a fast tour of everything.
45–60 · What to Fix First
Goal: Turn what was just discussed into a categorized, prioritized fix list using a consistent framework.
On screen: Optimization Playbook's five categories, applied live to whatever gaps came up in the last block.
Talk track: Walk content clarity → entity & authority → technical readiness → brand footprint → measurement loop, connecting each to something the client just saw. Concrete beats abstract every time in this block.
Watch for: The temptation to try to fix everything live. Redirect: "we're categorizing right now, not fixing — the fixing happens in the roadmap and afterward."
60–70 · Your 30-Day Roadmap
Goal: Convert the categorized list into a ranked, effort-tagged plan the client will actually use, with owners assigned.
On screen: The deliverable template — Critical/High/Medium/Low, each item tagged with effort, owner, and timeline.
Talk track: Use the 30-Day Roadmap week-by-week structure as the scaffold. Assign an owner to each item before the session ends — an unowned action item doesn't happen.
Watch for: A roadmap with fifteen "Critical" items and nothing ranked below that. Force real prioritization — cap Critical at 2–3 items, matching what real engagements actually produce.
70–75 · Close & Next Steps
Goal: End with a scheduled re-test date and a clear next step — not just "thanks for coming."
Talk track: Confirm the Week 4 re-test date on the calendar before the room disperses. If this is a Track A prospect, this is the natural moment to introduce the graduation path and the implementation service. See Close & Handoff for the full checklist.
